Progress Report # 1:
I'm struggling with where I want to go with my topic. I know I want to do something with the care of babies (neonatology), but I'm still not sure how I can put my opinion in my paper. I wanted to start my fundraiser in October or early November. I still need to contact a hospital to see if they need some sort of funds. I did ask my Allied Health teacher, Mrs. Kalita, if she knew whether the neonatal facility in Abington Hospital needed funding. I'm still not sure whether they need the funding, so I will ask her again or contact the hospital on my own. Before the next progress report I would like to have a finalized topic, a start on my fundraiser, and have everything handed in up to that date that needs to be completed. My mentor, Matt, has helped me to stay on track and stay positive through the difficulties I've been facing in this project.

Progress Report # 2:
I have been making progress on my project. A couple of weeks ago I decided I wanted to do a fundraiser at Springfield and Eastern where people would donate baby supplies that I will give to a womens shelter. Last week I found a womens shelter, called Mother's home, to donate all the baby supplies to. I have already gotten the ok, by Mr. Hackney, to conduct my fundraiser at Springfield. I have yet to ask Eastern if I can do my fundraiser there. My next step is to contact Mother's Home to make sure they will take my donation of baby supplies. Once I get the shelters permission to donate supplies I will start my fundraiser. I hope to contact the shelter tonight so I can start the fundraiser as soon as possible. I believe I'm on my way to successfully conducting my project. I need to make more progress on my paper. I have not started to work on my draft yet, so it is very important that I begin working on it today. My three goals are begin my draft, contact Mother's Home, and begin my fundraiser. My mentor has helped me come up with a better thesis. My Allied Health teacher, Mrs. Kalita, gave me the idea of donating supplies to a women's shelter. Also Mrs. Valenza has helped me to find information on the cost of Neonatology and Obstetrics.

Progress Report # 3:
For my project I have found a second shelter to give donations to, thanks to my Allied Health teacher Mrs. Kalita for finding the shelter. Though I already have two shelters to give the donations to, I have yet to contact the shelters. I must contact the shelters tomorrow so I can start the fundraiser to collect baby supplies. I have completed the first rough draft of my research paper, so I hope to start making revisions to the draft sometime this week. I am hoping to have my mentor help me this week by editing my rough draft of my research paper, so I can begin finalizing my paper. My three goals for this week are to revise my draft, contact shelters, and start donations as soon as possible.

Progress Report #4:
I have been making progress on my project. Over Thanksgiving breakI made flyers to post around the school. I hope to post them on Monday November 30th. I met my previous goals. I revised my draft into a final paper and received a 95. I also contacted Mothers' Home and spoke with the program director. She said she would gladly take donations and that I could personally drop off all the supplies collected. Hopefully I will be able to start donations on November 30th. Three goals that I would like to acomplish are starting my fundraiser, making progress on my powerpoint, and if I collect alot of donations before Christmas break I would like to deliver them to the shelter. My mentor helped my this week with my flyers for my fundraiser.

Progress Report #5:
I started my project about 2 weeks ago and I still have not recieved any supplies. I already hung flyers up around the school, so now I think I should send out an email to the parents to inform them about the fundraiser and do an announcement at Springfield. Three goals that I would like to accomplish are sending and email to the parents, doing an announcement about my fundraiser during the morning announcements, and finish my powerpoint.
